Questions on Ear Infections and Flying with a Child

Lauryn has another ear infection and is on yet another antibiotic. Yuk. I just hate it for her...all the medicine and doctor visits to recheck those ears. She has had one after another, and so we have decided it's time to get tubes. I am a little anxious about the surgery, even though people I have talked to say it'll be just fine. Anyone out there have any words of encouragement that we are doing the right thing or any stories to share from your experiences? Thanks!

Also, we are going on a ski trip to Colorado at the end of February. We are very excited! My question to you all is this....anyone out there who has traveled with your child have any special pointers for keeping them happy and occupied? Also, has anyone ever seen or maybe you have a travel-car seat that somehow turns into a stroller?? Ok, I know that sounds weird. I have only seen what I am talking about in an airport, so I have never known where you get one of those....or wonder if you could rent one? Hmmmm, that's a thought. I would love anyone's feedback on this! Thanks again!

Music Class "Recital"

Lauryn has been taking a music class and after the last class they have a "recital." It was on Saturday, and we had so much fun! Lauryn loves her music class and has enjoyed all of the children in her class. Of course, she and Preston always have fun together!

Both of Lauryn's grandmothers (Lulu and Yang-Yang) were able to be there to see Lauryn show off! I love this picture!

Miss Patty Cake DVDs

I wanted to post about a great children's DVD! Julie's mom told my mother in law about it, and thus, Lauryn got the set for Christmas. She said that Frances loved Miss Patty Cake! Lauryn hasn't gotten interested in much on TV, except of course Elmo.....however, she enjoyed Miss Patty Cake's fun and energetic sing along DVD. Just thought I would pass this along! Check it out....
