Back from our trip and back from the grandparents

Ryan and I went on a wonderful trip to California together! We had a great time away, and Lauryn had a great time with my parents in Alabama! Here are a few pictures from our trip...

Look off in the background and you'll see the Hollywood sign!

Here are the stars...the Hollywood Walk of Fame

Here we are at the Beverly Hills Hotel....no, we didn't see any celebrities.

Here's our rental car....ummm...yeah right, just kidding! (Just a car parked on Rodeo Drive.)

I thought this was a great picture of the sunset on the beach in Newport Beach, Cali. (We stayed in Newport Beach.)

Picture from Laguna Beach

Out to dinner one of the nights, and it was oh so good!

And awful to say, but I don't have any pictures of Lauryn from her time at my parents! She was a happy little girl and, of course, had tons of love and attention!

On a totally different note, I have to just say that I am so thankful for a wonderful husband and awesome daughter. We are so blessed to be surrounded by such loving family and good friends who may be reading this. I have been thinking a lot lately about how very much we have to be thankful for. I know that a lot of you all probably think about this also. There are so many in this world who are struggling in so many ways...poor, sick, diseased, alone...it just reminds me to be evermore thankful each day to God for what I have in my life.

I love all the pictures. You look so pretty in the last picture. I'm so glad you and Ryan got to spend that time together! We need to plan a girls trip to LA one day when the kids are older. That would be so much fun!

Wonderful pictures! It looks like a fun (child free) trip!! You look so pretty. I could not agree more with being thankful. It is easy to take for granted.
